Drawing on 21 years of experience as a first responder, I come from a place of understanding that life can be unpredictable and challenging to navigate on your own sometimes.
Wellness
What can I expect? My approach to counselling engages people as their whole selves. I pay attention to the quality of our connection in the therapeutic relationship and believe that wellness encompasses a mind-body connection.
Growth
What do we do in counselling? Our sessions together will mostly consist mostly of having conversations. The first session (s) I often guide the conversation by asking a series of questions to get to know you and what you want to explore in therapy and how you want to grow. You will play a key role in helping me understand what approach best fits you.
Mindfulness
Being present can often be challenging. This doesn't mean you need to meditate for an hour, we can be creative in integrating this research backed tool into session.
